Production Planning Intern

As Production Planning Intern, you will perform the operational planning (Master Production Schedule) of the defined factories at Finished Goods and Accessories level to ensure material availability for the end customer, as part of the global S&OP process. The planning horizon is from the operational planning, respecting the defined frozen weeks, until the tactical planning, considering a 6 months’ time period. 

 

Key responsibilities & accountabilities:  

Managing the production planning for Finished Goods and Accessories at:  

  • Rough cut capacity planning, set up of the monthly volume 
  • Weekly planning on item level 
  • Definition of the external purchasing (S&OP process) and execution of purchasing 

 

Support and contribute:  

  • Sales and Operational Planning Process 
  • Follow-up of defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 
  • Product phase in & phase out 
  • Interface to cross function within Supply Chain Organization 
     

As our ideal candidate, you have a degree in Management Engineering or Economics and a brilliant academic career. 
Analysis and planning skills, ability to manage time and consistently meet deadlines, problem solving and flexibility complete the profile. 
English knowledge and good proficiency in the main MSOffice tools are basic requirements.

Financial Accounting, Methods & Tuition Intern

As a Financial Accounting, Methods & Tuition Intern , reporting to the Financial Accounting, Methods & Tuition Manager, you will support the following activities in an international context: 

 

  • Preparation, study and engineering of new accounting processes 
  • Definition, maintenance, and improvement of accounting procedures at corporate level 
  • Supports the financial accounting process and procedures 
  • Setting of the accounting and reporting system 
  • Ensures the correct and timely reporting of results 
  • Supports the local teams in the implementation of accounting processes 
  • Guarantees the analyses on the correct application of policies at corporate level 
  • Manages the development of training materials and guides to enhance accounting practices and knowledge within the company

Health Safety & Environment Intern

The role, reporting to the Plant HSE Manager, will be support in the following activities: 

 

  • Manage the integrated system of environmental safety and the environmental compliance; 
  • Update the Risk Assessment Document and the Safety Report, mainly on Chemical risk; 
  • Ensure the correct implementation and keeping of health, safety and environment certifications (ISO 14001 – OHSAS 18001); 
  • Updating work equipment database (id. number, certificates, MUM, lay out) 
  • Support in the WCM safety pillar activities. 

 

The ideal candidate has: 

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent

Material Planner Intern

In your role as Material Planner Intern , reporting to the Plant Logistics Manager, you are responsible to support the follow of orders to suppliers and deliveries necessary for the planned production. 

You main responsibilities and activities will include: 

  • Support relations with the Purchasing department; 
  • Support the monitoring of the logistics flow between suppliers and production ensuring just-in-time transport; 
  • Support the improvement of logistic conditions towards suppliers through of the formulation of Logistic Agreements and Standard Packaging Sheets; 
  • Support inventory activities and with the warehouse and the Quality department, for inventory alignment and year-end inventory; 
  • Support the delivery of continuous improvement projects in the logistics field, new range development projects and related phase out and IT projects for the improvement of the tools used. 

As ideal candidate, you have a degree in engineering.

Junior Embedded Software Engineer

As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer , you will be involved in the design of electronic systems applied to thermal comfort products and will be responsible for the following activities

  • Support to the System Architecture Design: study of the best architectural solution to realize modular complex logics within various Heating system components. Shared services organization, information exchange, communication efficiency evaluation, control strategies; 
  • Requirements Engineering for Software specifications, sharing concepts and solutions with the team and actively working on the documentation preparation and maintenance, using Requirements Engineering Tools; 
  • Embedded Software design. Proper use of the Ariston environment tools, frameworks and technical solution. Software Development (ANSI C, Matlab) at Application and Platform levels; 
  • Continuous cooperation with the team members, following instructions and guidelines, and solving incoming issues; 
  • Cooperate with other team members to perform critical analysis on technical issues, new products’ requirements and design improvements on products’ performances. 

Your profile

  • Master’s Degree in Automation or Electronics Engineering; 
  • Basics of embedded software design; 
  • Basics of SW Architecture design and Automatic Controls and Requirements Engineering; 
  • Knowledge of state machines design; 
  • Knowledge of C programming language; 
  • Knowledge of Matlab language and Simulink is preferred; 
  • Intermediate English;

Platform Design Specialist Connected Services

The role, within the R&D Connected Services team , will be responsible for the following activities: 

  • Design and develop full-stack architecture and services for in-cloud management of IoT devices (APP, backend, M2M etc.) 
  • Design and manage infrastructure to host such services 
  • Define requirements, specifications and architecture for Web and Mobile Applications 
  • Define requirements, specifications and architecture for third part integration services (i.e. API) 
  • Support third part application developers 
  • Manage interactions with other departments (e.g. Business units, production, markets, R&D and Quality) 
  • Manage activities in cooperation with consultancy companies and partners 
  • Project management activities   

The ideal candidate has: 

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering with specialization in Computer Science 
  • Good knowledge of Python programming language, web application / API frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI, Falcon, etc.) 
  • Good knowledge of cloud computing systems, specifically AWS services

As Electronics Hardware R&D Engineer, you will be in charge of the design of electronic control boards applied to thermal comfort products and will be responsible for the following activities

  • Develop high quality and high performance electronic products based on the market request and following internal procedure; 
  • Define and validate components or alternative p/n; 
  • Manage design documentation for external suppliers; 
  • Contribute in the products’ value proposition by introducing new technologies or solutions; 
  • Cooperate with other team member to perform feasibility analysis for new product design and to improve products’ performance; 
  • Technical support to the customers. 

Your profile

  • Master’s (or Bachelor’s) Degree in Electronic or Automation Engineering; 
  • Basic knowledge of electronic circuit design principles; 
  • Basic knowledge of components and failure analysis; 
  • Knowledge of simulator tools; 
  • EMC Knowledge;

Plant Quality Control Intern

In your role as Plant Quality Control Intern , reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the following activities: 

  • Support all activities related to Plants’ Quality department: main focus on production process controls 
  • Support product problems solving 
  • Manage complaints: analyze the causes of products defects and define improvement and preventive actions in collaboration with R&D and Manufacturing Departments 
  • Analyze call rate data and suggest improvement actions and implementation follow up 
  • Participate in developing quality performance reporting systems (through KPIs) 
  • Analyze process scrap and reworks and identify action plan to reduce them 
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications: ISO 9001 and QMS 
  • Participate in internal and external audits performed by external quality auditors.
